Phurba Tenjing Sherpa, a renowned Nepalese mountaineer, has accomplished the extraordinary feat of scaling Mount Everest fifteen times, securing multiple Guinness World Records. Recognized for his significant two-decade-long contributions to mountaineering and mountain tourism, he was honored with the “National Youth Talent Award 2017” by President Bidhya Bhandari on behalf of the Government of Nepal. Formerly affiliated with Reuters and AFP as a mountain photographer/videographer, Mr. Sherpa currently serves as a goodwill ambassador for Gran Sasso and Monti della laga National Park, one of Europe’s largest parks. Notably, he belongs to the only family globally where eight members have conquered Mt. Everest. Presently, he holds the position of Goodwill Ambassador for the We Will Rise Foundation (WWRF). Additionally, Sherpa’s expedition company, Dreamers Destination Treks & Expedition, is recognized as a prestigious and esteemed entity in the mountaineering industry.
