Rojita Buddhacharya, a versatile professional, excels as an artist, journalist, mountaineer, and astrophysicist. With a 14-year rich background in journalism, including roles as an MC, RJ, VJ, news reporter, presenter and program producer, she was the program presenter and producer of ‘Aaja Ko Bigyaan’ in Nepal Television and is currently the chief reporter at www.merolifestyle.com. Notably, she was honored with the”Journalist of the Year 2018,”award by Federation of Nepali Journalists in 2019 for her journalism in adverse environment of Everest.She holds a Guinness World Record for the “Most Ascent of Everest in a season by a single nation (Female)” as the team leader of the First Women Journalists Everest Expedition 2018 that she shared with 17 other Nepali female Everesteers. Rojita, with double masters in Physics and Astronomy research, is a Ph.D. candidate at Astrophysics Research Institute, Liverpool John Moores University, UK. She is an associate member of WWRF.
